Got these mid-air shots of seabirds aboard a ferry to Elephanta caves, near Mumbai, India. These seabirds fly with the ferry & tourists sometimes throw food at them, which these birds catch mid-air. Sometimes,
people hold out the food and the birds would observe, align themselves for the grab, swoop down, grab it by their beak and fly off, all with perfect precision and all in a matter of few seconds. I wondered later, the impact of our actions. Do these birds need to snack on what we snack?
Marvellous pic!
